Quick Heal Foundation, Maharashtra Cyber and Theatre Academy have joined hands to organize Cy-Fi Karandak, the competitive festival of One-Act Plays. The competition is part of a comprehensive project, Cy-Fi – The New Age Art Initiative, which in future intends to observe and focus on contemporary works of art that reflect Human Life in the digital world. The first among these is theatre.
Cy-Fi - New Age Art aims to create and enable a vibrant platform that portrays the impact of Digital Revolution on human life and facilitates a process of mass awareness around cybersecurity. A press conference was organised in Pune Commissioner’s Office on 6th December, 2018 to unveil the trophy of Cy-Fi Karandak 2018. MD and CEO of Quick Heal Technologies Ltd. Dr.Kailash Katkar along with Superintendent of Police Mr.Sachin Pandkar (Maharashtra Cyber) and Mr.Prasad Purandare of Theatre Academy, discussed about the event. The one-act play competition aims to educate people about digital threats, cyber safety through the medium of entertainment.

Quick Heal Foundation, the CSR arm of Quick Heal Technologies Limited, the leading provider of IT Security Solutions in association with Pune City Police announced the winners of the first edition of ‘Cy-Fi Karandak 2017’ at a gala ceremony at Bharat Natya Mandir. ‘Vaat’ by ‘Prarambha’ was adjudged as the winner of the competition followed by ‘4th Dimension’ by ‘Unbox Pune’ and ‘Mission Perfection’ by ‘Jacaranda’ Pune.

Theatre Academy, Pune is a renowned theatre organization. Since the last 45 years they are doing experimental theatre & organizing different kinds of theatre related programs & activities. It has produced landmark plays like Vijay Tendulkar's GHASIRAM KOTWAL, P.L.Deshpande’s TEEN PAISACHA TAMASHA, Satish Alekar’s MAHANIRVAN and many other plays. Theater academy always encourages different experimental programmes, and gives them the platform to perform.
Cyber Maharashtra was established in 2016 by the Government of Maharashtra, to tackle cyber crime and other digital threats. It is actively engaged in building cyber crime investigation labs, cyber police stations and awareness about cyber in Maharashtra. Maharashtra Cyber through its efforts has made Maharashtra, the first state in the country to have 43 cyber-police stations and 51 Cyber Labs, to expedite the criminal investigation cycle.
